self-drive packages We have chosen the Hotel Sully in Nogent-le-Rotrou as our base for this tour. Just 40 miles north east of Le Mans Nogent is a small provincial town with plenty of boutiques, a large market place, leisure centre with swimming pool and bars and restaurants to choose from. The hotel is a good three star modern property just five minutes walk from the centre. Bedrooms are very comfortable and the hotel has a small bar, breakfast room and restaurant. Friday 15 June Fly from London Heathrow to Paris on the mid-morning Air France flight. On arrival you will be met and taken by coach to Chartres where there will be free time for individual sightseeing and to visit the famous Cathedral before continuing to Nogent-le-Rotrou and the Hotel Sully. Accommodation is reserved for you for three nights on bed and breakfast basis. Saturday 16 June Mid-morning departure by coach for Le Mans. The race will begin at 1600h. The coach will return to your hotel in the late evening. Sunday 17 June After breakfast you leave for Le Mans and the last hours of the race, returning at the end of the day’s events. Monday 18 June Departure from the hotel will be mid-morning to return to the airport for the mid-afternoon Air France flight to London.
