Laguna Moto GP 2008...

San Francisco

Why not start your holiday with a few days in San Francisco?

Situated just outside the town of Monterey on California's stunning Pacific Coast this is our favourite round of the year.  A great trip to combine with a driving holiday on the Pacific Coast Highway or a city break in San Francisco.

For the last three years the MotoGP organisers have allowed paddock passes to be sold at this event (something that is not done at any other MotoGP event ) and we have a limited number which will be included in their packages.

Rated by many of our WSB and now MotoGP clients (not just us) as the best round they have ever been to, the first US Round of the MotoGP Championship offers not only great racing in gorgeous weather but also some of the best viewing with open access to most of the circuit. Combine this with a great location and it is not hard to see why this round was so popular.

Our hotels for Laguna is set in the costal town of Monterey, which has good links including a bus service (free to race ticket holders) to the circuit. This is also the town where most of the teams and riders stay so the atmosphere is great.

Although the 125 and 250 Classes do not visit the US, you will be able to watch the AMA Round scheduled over the same weekend.

Where is the circuit located?

Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is located between Monterey and Salinas on highway 68. 100 miles south of San Francisco and 350 miles North of Los Angeles.

If you wish to experience this event at its very best then we cannot recommend highly enough the hospitality package - it is the very best available. With almost unlimited access to the circuit and paddock this package is how hospitality should be at all events. It offers you not only the very highest level of catering but also gives you the opportunity to wander freely around both the circuit and the paddock. Viewing is from the unit, which is situated close to the paddock and overlooks Turn 4 one of the circuits prime viewing areas. As this event is always so hot the covered hospitality unit is a real plus allowing you to keep on top of all the action from the comfort of the unit.

The standard pass that we offer also gives a very high level of access along with grandstand viewing. Paddock access is also included in this pass.

If you want to get closer than has been possible before to MotoGP and if you want to visit one of the Worlds best spectator tracks then this is THE event to go too.
