Introduction...
The Rolex 24 Hours at
Daytona is a weekend of non-stop action both on and off the track. The world’s
top drivers are eager to compete for one of the most prestigious titles in
sportscar racing – ‘Rolex 24 Champion’. For fans it is a high-octane experience
too and in 2011 you can be at the heart of the action with a fully equipped RV
on the infield of the world-famous Daytona International Speedway.
Our 5 night tour includes flights between London Gatwick and Orlando and one
night in an excellent hotel before collecting your RV and heading off to Daytona
for four nights on the infield of the Speedway. Your RV is designed to
accommodate up to 7 people but will comfortably sleep four in separate beds. Up
to 700 miles are included as well as water and electric hook-up at the Speedway.
Also included are event tickets giving you track access, grandstand seating,
Sprint FANZONE and garage access for all four days from Thursday through to
Sunday.
On Monday you drive back to Orlando, drop off your RV and make your way to the
airport for your return early evening flight. Alternatively, the RV is yours
until Thursday so you can spend a further three days on the coast of Florida or
visiting the many resorts and theme parks.
Itinerary...
Wednesday 26 January
Fly from London Gatwick Airport to Orlando arriving in the late afternoon. Make
your way to the Doubletree Resort on International Drive where accommodation is
reserved for you for one night on room only basis.
Thursday 27 January
Waking refreshed, make your way to the RV depot where you will receive full
instruction on the use of your vehicle before driving it away. Your fully
equipped vehicle includes sleeping bags, towels, pillows, cutlery, crockery and
pots and 700 included miles.
On arrival in Daytona your infield space is reserved for you for four nights,
from where you’ll miss none of the action.
Monday 31 January
Return to Orlando to drop off your RV and make your way to the airport in good
time to check in for your evening flight to London Gatwick.
Tuesday 1 February
Mid-morning arrival at London Gatwick Airport
