5 night package from £1209 per person NASCAR drivers do it on ovals - and on the occasional road course – 36 times a year on 22 different tracks. From the fast and furious half mile ovals to the longer 2.5 mile ovals the super V8 cars, specially built to absorb bumping, have a different set up for every track. Grids are enormous with over 40 Fords, Toyotas, Dodges and Chevrolets competing at each event. It’s a family affair – the NASCAR dynasty’s are legendary but there’s also a smattering of drivers more well known to the European race fans. In the US they don’t believe in saving the best ‘til last.
