It's one of the highlights of the British sporting calendar and if you are a Formula One fan the 2012 British Grand Prix is a must! The British Formula One Grand Prix truly is one of the best weekends of the F1 year with an action packed schedule on the Silverstone track, exhibitions, music and attractions galore along the mall, Red Arrows displays and much, much more. The Formula One show must go on and Silverstone 2012 goes to town to entertain the capacity F1 crowds.

The Silverstone circuit underwent a major facelift in 2011 creating a brand new F1 paddock and start/finish line making Abbey the first and Club the last corners. Fans in the International Pits Straight grandstand will see the cars exiting Club corner, roaring down the pits straight and into a fast right turn at Abbey. The next complex of bends is Village and The Loop, a great overtaking opportunity and from Club you will see the cars as they come from Stowe, through Vale and around the long corner to the pits straight.

The hotels for the 2012 British Grand Prix weekend are located in Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick. Less than an hour from the Formula One track there are plenty of restaurants for pleasant evenings and sights to see if you are not spending all your time at Silverstone. You can stay from one to four nights in one of the specially chosen hotels and the comfortable coaches will take you to and from the Silverstone track each day. Your representatives will be on hand throughout to ensure you fully enjoy your 2012 British Grand Prix weekend.

Make your way to your chosen hotel to check in during the afternoon. Accommodation at all hotels is on bed and breakfast basis.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday coaches will leave after breakfast for Silverstone and return at the end of each day’s British Grand Prix events. Coach pick-up points in Stratford-upon-Avon will be advised to you and coaches will also pick up at the Express by Holiday Inn in Warwick. Each coach will be accompanied by a representative.

If you arrive at your hotel on Thursday, circuit transfers are included for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
For arrivals on Friday circuit transfers are included on Saturday and Sunday.
For arrivals on Saturday the circuit transfer is included for Sunday only.

Accommodation - British Grand Prix

Premier Inn, Stratford-upon-Avon
This brand new hotel is just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Bedrooms are simple but comfortable with a private bathroom and flatscreen TV and there is a bar and restaurant offering a varied British menu. Breakfast is included. There is no onsite parking but plenty of public parking nearby.

Express by Holiday Inn * *
The hotel is located just off junction 15 of the M40 motorway and a few minutes drive from the centre of Warwick. Bedrooms have bathroom, TV and telephone and breakfast is a continental buffet. There is a bar and restaurant adjacent to the hotel and ample guest parking.

Please note that there is a car parking charge of £3 per night which is payable onsite.

Grosvenor Hotel * * *
A friendly and comfortable hotel with lots of character just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. The hotel has a cosy bar and lounge and restaurant with imaginative menus. Guest parking is also available. Bedrooms all have bathroom, TV and telephone.

Holiday Inn * * * *
Located on the banks of the River Avon this large hotel offers modern rooms with air-conditioning. The hotel features an indoor pool and fitness centre with jacuzzi and steam room. Traditional British fare is served in the Riverside Restaurant whilst the Terrace Bar offers light meals and snacks. 24-hour room service is available. 3 Night minimum stay required. Parking is included.

The Stratford Hotel * * * *
A contemporary and stylish hotel located just above the main market place. The lobby, bar and restaurant are elegant and the bedrooms, richly furnished in soft tones, are very comfortable. There is ample guest parking.

The Arden * * * *
This sophisticated, boutique hotel is located in the centre of town, opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the river Avon. Having undergone a complete refurbishment in 2010 all rooms are now superbly appointed with marbled bathroom and excellent amenities. The hotel has a popular champagne bar and brasserie.

Alveston Manor * * * *
The distinctive building is one of the landmarks of Stratford. The old manor house, with the bar, lounge and restaurant, has extensive and original tudor panelling and an Elizabethan staircase. Most guest bedrooms are in the new wing, are spacious and comfortable with excellent amenities. The hotel has an inviting leisure complex with indoor swimming pool, gym, steam room and sauna. There is ample guest parking and the centre of town is just five minutes walk from the hotel.
 

Grandstand tickets

The 2012 British Grand Prix ticket prices below are all valid for three days and all stands below are covered. The grandstand ticket prices below include a roving seat for Friday and Saturday and a reserved seat in the designated stand for Sunday. Luffield, Woodcote and Copse grandstands are covered.

Pit lane hospitality

In the centre of the circuit overlooking the pit lane and the start/finish straight, your hospitality suite is in a unique location on the circuit.  You will be welcomed each day by the friendly staff who are available throughout to ensure your every comfort. 

All day you will enjoy an open bar of  tea, coffee, soft drinks, beers and wines – and on Sunday champage is served all day.  There is a choice of bacon , sausage or egg rolls for breakfast.  A champagne reception takes you into an extensive buffet lunch with different menus each day and accompanied by fine wines.   To ensure you won’t be hungry in the afternoon there’s a tempting tea of cakes, scones and shortbreads.  Circuit parking, entrance ticket with centre transfer and race programme are included too.  Inside the suite there are private wc’s, closed circuit TV monitors and viewed is from the tiered terrace.
